Oak Forest is the third largest subdivision in Harris County!

There are 5,526+ homes, 18 sections, and over 24,000 residents!

The Oak Forest Homeowners Association (OFHA) Community Patrol Program was established in 2013 after residents became increasingly concerned about rising crime throughout Houston. A dedicated group of neighborhood volunteers evaluated multiple security providers and law enforcement agencies to identify the best fit for Oak Forest.

S.E.A.L. Security was selected based on its proven track record of serving Houston-area communities of similar size and complexity.

Like any thriving community, Oak Forest continues to evolve. Throughout 2025 and 2026, OFHA worked to better understand residents' priorities and build upon the strong foundation established over the past 13 years. As a result, beginning each October during the Harris County fiscal year, Oak Forest will contract with four Harris County Constable Precinct 1 officers to provide dedicated patrol services throughout the neighborhood.

The OFHA Community Patrol Program continues to adapt to meet the changing needs of Oak Forest. As of September 2026, only 12% of Oak Forest residents participate in the Community Patrol Program, which currently funds two officers per day working 8-hour shifts.

Thanks to increased support and contributions from local businesses, Oak Forest will now be able to fund four officers working 8-hour shifts, significantly increasing patrol coverage and enhancing neighborhood safety for all residents.
